Dear EcoRight Supporter,
All campaigns need palm cards—something to hand out, something that fits in a back pocket or a shirt pocket, something to leave behind after a presentation. Educational campaigns especially need palm cards when they’re breaking new ground.
That’s why we’ve spent serious time experimenting with messages and designs and . . . drumroll, please. . . our new palm cards are at the printer right now! We wanted you to have a first look.
Onward,
Bob

What Went Into Making the Cards?
Those finished palm cards may look simple, but getting a few words and images just right took plenty of thought, testing, and community input.
The republicEn team meets with longtime advisor Greg Cordell to develop and refine our new palm cards.
We brought longtime republicEn advisor Greg Cordell, formerly of Brains on Fire, onto the team for the entire process, from brainstorming the initial concepts to refining and finalizing the designs.
Along the way, we shared early prototypes with our EcoRight friends and members, asking what caught their attention, what resonated, and what needed more work. We even offered a chance to win a $50 gift card to sweeten the deal.
Their feedback, combined with Greg’s experience and the team’s work, shaped the polished cards you see today. The finished product reflects the voices and insights of the community it was created to represent.
EcoRight Speaks Podcast
The EcoRight Speaks is back, launching its 13th season (lucky season 13) on July 21st. Kicking off this season’s roster was economist and head of C2ES, Nat Keohane, who gave us a rundown on the priorities they are working on but also a detailed analysis of how lucrative the clean energy economy is to the American Southeast.
Coming back to the show was American Action Forum’s energy and environment expert, Shuting Pomerleau, who shared her research on the costs of Virginia both rejoining RGGI and having to adhere to strict emissions reduction goals set by the state, all while energy demand is on the rapid rise due to data centers and AI.
With half the season’s guests already booked or recorded, we are looking toward an exciting season with voices both fresh and familiar.
