Dr. Ben Carson said climate change “would not be the overarching driver of my policies” were he elected president. “There’s always been change going on.”
Carson indicated that while he might have attended the international climate change negotiations recently held in Paris, he does not think warming is a “premier issue in the world, and the cause of terrorism and everything.”
Carson has recently slipped in most polls but will participate in the prime time debate Tuesday night.
