In a statement issued by his campaign, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker dubbed the EPA’s carbon emissions rule for power plants the “Costly Power Plan.”

“[The rule] will cost hard-working Americans jobs and raise energy rates. I will stand up for Americans and stop the Costly Power Plan.”

Gov. Walker has previously said the Clean Power Plan rule is “unworkable” for Wisconsin and indicated the state will not comply without “significant and meaningful changes.”
