We turn to Rob Speidel for advice on economic trends because those trends impact our educational campaign for climate solutions.

Rob has been Director of Research for the last 21 years for Everett Harris & Company, an investment firm founded in Los Angeles in 1935 that now oversees $8 billion in assets.

Early in his career, he was Director of Public Equities for the Global Environment Fund of Washington, DC. He was the portfolio manager for GEF’s investments in publicly traded companies worldwide that helped improve the environment by following three key strategies: energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean water.

He received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College. Rob lives in McLean, VA, with his wife and two daughters. He shares a passion for public policy in the areas of the environment and public education and enjoys biking, skiing, and sailing.
