Dr. Ben Carson attended a campaign event in Nevada, where he told the audience he is “a person who is very concerned about the environment.”
“I get a lot of questions about climate change and the Paris Accords,” Carson said. “But what I always say is we have to be reasonable. We have to care about the environment but we have to be reasonable.”
Carson added that he didn’t want to eliminate the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, but would encourage the agency to work with industry and academia “instead of going around tormenting people.”
