Courting potential voters at a house party in East Concord, former tech CEO Carly Fiorina addressed the challenges facing “this great country we all love.”

When asked what actions the president can take on a global scale to protect the environment and address climate change, Fiorina reiterated her support for “innovation” over regulation to help solve the climate crisis. “It is equally true that the Environmental Protection Agency has way overstepped their bounds now, and they are destroying jobs, communities and industries, at the altar not of science, but of ideology.”

She cautioned that “there is no magic bullet” when it comes to renewable energy, advocating for a mix of sources to meet the global demand for energy. She praised solar power but added, “there is no way, in our lifetimes, that solar will take place and generate all of the energy that is necessary.”
