South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham continues his call for support for climate action, telling NBC’s Chuck Todd he believes “manmade emissions are hurting the environment.”
“The best way for a Republican to fight on this issue is the solution, not argue with the science,” Graham said. “I think the science is sound. And at the end of the day, I ask my competitors: What is the environmental policy of the Republican party?”
Graham has previously said he wants his candidacy to “give voice to younger people who are conservative,” noting millennials are “the most environmentally sensitive group of Americans in history.”
