Kasich: we must care for environment

Ohio Governor John Kasich, who is expected to join the crowded Republican field in a bid for the White House, responded to the Pope’s encyclical on the environment and human ecology, saying that while humans have an “obligation” to take care of the environment, he remains cautious of “extremism” beliefs and policies that result in a “worshiping [of] the environment.”
