Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, responding to a question posed at an event held at the Kilton Public Library in West Lebanon, NH, said climate change is caused by both human activity and natural cycles.
“There were changes in the climate prior to the Industrial Revolution,” Paul said. “The question is to what degree humans are affecting climate change… There’s a balancing act. Cars do have emissions and probably aren’t good for the planet. How many people want to banish cars?”
