Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker announced on Monday that he is joining the race for the presidency, bringing the total of official Republican candidates to fifteen.
Gov. Walker has been a vocal opponent of President Obama’s Clean Power Plan, proposed regulations for the electricity sector that are at the center of the Administration’s plan to address climate change. In in letter sent to the President in May, Walker called the proposal “unworkable” for Wisconsin.
