Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who once drafted an economy wide climate change bill with former senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT), called getting “the environmental community and the energy community together to come up with a comprehensive plan to drill offshore, frack onshore and set lower carbon targets” a top priority of his administration should he win the White House.

Graham also addressed his support for climate change solutions at a retreat in Utah where he said: “People are all over the board on climate change. I’ve been to the arctic, I’ve been to Alaska. I think CO2 emissions are heating up the planet. How much, I don’t know. But if half of it’s true, that’s pretty serious. I just want a pro-business way to fix it. Young people, to their credit, are very environmentally sensitive.”
