House Climate Solutions Caucus members Rep. John Faso (R-NY-19) introduced a bill to establish a commission for recommending science-based, economically viable climate solution policies. Under the bill, the commission would make recommendations to the President within 18 months.
“Creating a bipartisan commission will help bring the public and private sectors together to provide smart solutions to the problems we face in the world today from the negative impacts of climate change,” Faso said.
Fellow caucus member, Maryland’s Rep. John Delaney, was Faso’s primary Democratic co-lead. The measure is also cosponsored by six Republicans and six Democrats.
