In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Reince Priebus, who has been tapped to serve as White House chief of staff to President-elect Donald Trump, clarified Trump’s comment to the New York Times that he’ll have an “open mind” on climate change.

“As far as this issue on climate change — the only thing he was saying after being asked a few questions about it is, look, he’ll have an open mind about it but he has his default position, which most of it is a bunch of bunk, but he’ll have an open mind and listen to people. I think that’s what he’s saying.”

Trump told the New York Times he thinks “there is some connectivity. Some. Something. It depends on how much,” while also appointing a suite of climate deniers to his transition team.
