Presidential candidate Donald Trump sat for a foreign policy interview with the New York Times on Friday. While the paper did not specifically address the issue of climate change, Trump reiterated a common refrain from his campaign.

“When people talk global warming,” Trump said. “I say the global warming that we have to be careful of is the nuclear global warming.”

The GOP frontrunner made a similar comment to the Washington Post editorial board last week, saying, “I think our biggest form of climate change we should worry about is nuclear weapons. The biggest risk to the world, to me – I know President Obama thought it was climate change – to me the biggest risk is nuclear weapons. That’s – that is climate change.”
